Description

  • Identify opportunities across Bioservices products and services, with emphasis on biobanking, sample preparation services, and specialty lab services.
  • Develop and strengthen client relationships.
  • Build working relationships with Marketing, Technical Support, Customer Support, and Production teams.
  • Qualify leads and move opportunities through the sales process.
  • Write proposals in consultation with internal Bioservices experts as needed.
  • Develop project budgets and pricing using in-house resources to ensure accuracy.
  • Close new business and expand existing business relationships.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and meetings as required.
  • Maintain contacts and opportunities in SalesForce.com.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related sales experience, or Master’s degree and 2 years of related sales experience, or PhD and 0-1 years of related sales experience.
  • Team player willing to collaborate and share knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time, and create plans to achieve personal goals.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically while acting tactically in a dynamic environment.
  • Track record of progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Proven success in client relationship management and business development in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO organization.
  • Experience selling biobanking, sample preparation services, and specialty lab services.
  • Must be self-directed and self-motivated to work at a highly technical level.
  • Willingness to travel up to 35%, including domestic and international overnight travel.
  • Valid driver’s license for the state(s) in which you drive.
  • Academic concentration in life sciences or a related field preferred.
  • Master’s or PhD in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, or Biochemistry preferred.
  • 10 years of related sales experience preferred.

  • Base salary range of $162,000 to $243,000 USD, with potential for incentives.
