Description

  • Identify and coordinate sales-based communication activities for designated accounts and contacts.
  • Qualify inbound leads and support outbound prospecting to generate new sales opportunities for the Business Development team.
  • Liaise with Business Development to identify target companies for nurtured outreach and meeting or RFP support.
  • Analyze the competitive environment and make recommendations based on market findings.
  • Develop and maintain an annual outreach plan, reviewed monthly with leadership and Business Development.
  • Research social media, business news, financial news, competitors, conferences, and marketing activity to identify leads and market opportunities.
  • Research Precision’s markets, competition, product mix, and specified product markets.
  • Work with Marketing to coordinate collateral that supports sales efforts.
  • Update CRM and sales enablement systems accurately and on time to maintain data integrity and produce activity reports.
  • Provide regular feedback on company positioning, pricing, competitiveness, and market conditions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, science, or a business-related discipline, or equivalent experience in a marketing, communication, business development, or sales environment.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in the product/service sales lifecycle, including client identification and prospecting.
  • Direct B2B sales experience in the service industry.
  • Understanding of the CRO and Specialty Labs market and Precision’s role within it.
  • Willingness to undertake domestic and international travel, including overnight stays.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending English.
  • Drive and determination to meet and exceed targets and quotas.
  • Adaptability, professionalism, and motivation, with a clear understanding of the sales cycle.
  • Experience in the CRO/pharmaceutical industry or life sciences industry, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, in a team, and to communicate and present effectively to scientific, sales, and marketing audiences.
