Description

  • Manage regional compensation and benefits matters as part of the global Total Reward team in support of the business and HR Business Partners.
  • Participate in annual salary administration, including salary grade and structure maintenance and creation.
  • Provide data analytics to support incentive and salary increase budget development.
  • Administer annual incentive and salary increase programs.
  • Conduct market benchmarking to assess competitive positioning of job and pay programs.
  • Review job descriptions and provide feedback and consulting to the business as needed.
  • Manage salary surveys by matching PMG jobs to survey reference jobs and providing organizational data to providers.
  • Lead the gender pay gap reporting process as applicable in relevant countries.
  • Maintain and ensure HR systems support compensation priorities and policy.
  • Support the development and implementation of international benefits strategy aligned with business goals, employee competitiveness, and cost effectiveness.
  • Maintain benefit plan inventories, policy documents, renewal dates, and cost tracking by country and business unit.
  • Manage annual carrier and policy renewals, including contract negotiations and market reviews with brokers and vendors.
  • Partner on benefits setup for new country launches and acquisitions.
  • Lead pension scheme administration and serve as point of contact for benefits-related invoices.
  • Partner with field HR to respond to employee questions and assist with leave, sickness, and accident processes.
  • Coordinate with legal, HR, and outside counsel on immigration matters.
  • Produce HR metrics and offer insights related to compensation and offers for business and HR teams.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to HR Business Partners on compensation-related topics.
  • Support compensation policy and procedure creation and contribute to HR and Total Reward projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related major.
  • 12 or more years of compensation and benefits experience within mature international organizations.
  • Experience working across different countries with an understanding of payroll and labor law differences.
  • Ability to communicate compensation and benefits programs effectively to leadership and employees.
  • Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or a related industry (preferred).
  • Experience with PayFactors and SAP/SuccessFactors HRMS (preferred).
  • Experience matching jobs and designing/developing salary grade structures (preferred).
  • Experience with short-term incentive plans and/or sales plans (preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency with market pricing, survey methodology, salary structures, regression analysis, and data modeling.
  • Solid understanding of global regulatory environments and pay transparency legislation.
  • Understanding and appreciation of cultural differences across business and country contexts.
  • Strong project management ability to plan, organize, and execute complex global compensation projects.
  • Equivalent combination of education, professional training, and experience may be considered.
