Description

  • Conduct inbound and outbound sales prospecting, with inbound activities taking precedence in this role.
  • Make cold calls and send follow-up emails to engage potential customers.
  • Qualify leads and opportunities using BANT methodology before handing them off to the sales team.
  • Write, adapt, and execute call scripts, email templates, and outreach sequences.
  • Use social selling techniques and prospecting tools to source and attract leads.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed notes and activity records in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing, Sales Operations, Product, and other cross-functional teams on prospecting strategies.
  • Research buyer personas, target-market needs, industry trends, competitors, and account opportunities.
  • Participate in networking, face-to-face meetings, and other lead-generation activities.
  • Take initial exploratory calls with prospects to assess fit and interest.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in an inbound or outbound-focused Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role.
  • Strong experience and comfort with cold selling via email and telephone.
  • Excellent research skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated success in reaching monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced technology environment and handling a range of responsibilities flexibly.
  • Third-level qualification in a related discipline.
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter mentality, and a positive 'can do' attitude.
  • Ability to make decisions and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to switch between creative and analytical thinking.
  • Previous prospecting experience supporting the growth of a B2B SaaS organization at an enterprise level is preferred.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
  • Interest in contributing to an innovative, supportive culture and supporting talent development and career growth.
