Description

  • Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate business needs and process requirements for project stakeholders.
  • Capture data and technical integration requirements and produce data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, data mappings, entity relationship diagrams, and process flow diagrams.
  • Facilitate stakeholder interviews and process workshops to gather requirements and identify business improvement opportunities.
  • Translate use cases and process maps into user stories, functional requirements, non-functional requirements, and success criteria.
  • Identify user story dependencies and participate in grooming and planning sessions to validate priority, impact, and value.
  • Design, build, and maintain enterprise business data architecture and related data management roadmaps.
  • Document and maintain end-to-end business data-flow catalogs, data service catalogs, and enterprise integration catalogs.
  • Lead business-critical data initiatives, including upstream/downstream impact analysis, risk mitigation, and implementation workstreams.
  • Partner with Enterprise Applications, EDA, and Data Intelligence teams on dataflow, migration, data integrity, reporting, and analytical capabilities.
  • Support enterprise data governance, third-party data providers, system integrations, and related infrastructure or architecture programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience liaising between business and technology teams on data-oriented projects.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into non-technical language for business stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Agile development methods.
  • Experience with modeling tools for process, data, and workflow at the conceptual level.
  • BPMN experience for process modeling/mapping is highly desired.
  • Experience in data lifecycle and ETL design, with strong understanding of data management principles and data profiling.
  • Direct experience supporting data migration and synchronization between complex systems and/or integrations.
  • Experience conducting workshops with stakeholders from multiple functional areas and levels.
  • Experience creating complex test plans and quality assurance plans to validate new systems.
  • Direct experience with systems analysis methodologies such as data analysis, data mapping, flowcharts, use case development, story writing, system setup/configuration, UAT, and product documentation.
  • Direct experience with Agile methodologies, including project management, iterative design, build, and delivery.
  • Salesforce, NetSuite, and PowerBI experience is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, persuasion, negotiation, critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
