Description

  • Work with experienced colleagues on agile consulting projects in the capital markets environment.
  • Support clients in the migration and development of interfaces and reports across analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
  • Take on increasing ownership of assigned work areas over time.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives alongside project delivery.
  • Implement your own ideas and improvements within the team.
  • Explore capital markets technology from a technical perspective.
  • Understand and work with the latest version of financial software used by major global financial institutions.

Requirements

  • University degree in economics, mathematics, (business) informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Knowledge of SQL coding.
  • Experience with databases such as Sybase, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Skills in additional programming languages such as Java or XML.
  • Experience with modern development tools and environments such as GIT and Jenkins.
  • Initial practical experience in consulting projects within financial services or in IT and/or transformation projects.
  • Interest in capital markets topics.
  • Experience in interface development or configuration of banking software in the capital markets environment, such as Murex or comparable systems, is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to assert yourself.
  • Fluent English; German is a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to clients within the EU.
