Description

  • Architect and maintain production-quality player investment systems, workflows, and tools in C++ on Unreal 5 with minimal oversight.
  • Provide technical guidance to teammates on how to use and interface with the systems, including constraints and best practices.
  • Collaborate daily with a cross-disciplinary team to build new gameplay experiences.
  • Design and implement networked game systems related to long-term player progression and investment.
  • Support designers by enabling systems that engage players across thousands of hours of gameplay.

Requirements

  • Ability to write, debug, and maintain code in C++.
  • Experience designing and building networked game systems related to long-term player pursuits.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience developing with Unreal Engine.
  • Experience working on a live service game (preferred).
  • Experience developing across multiple platforms, including PC and console (preferred).
  • Experience mentoring or managing engineers (preferred).

Benefits

  • Base pay range of $190,000 to $285,000 USD for candidates based in Seattle, with pay varying by geographic location and hybrid policy.
