Description

  • Own end-to-end development of Drive Commerce/WebGL configurators using Three.js and/or Babylon.js.
  • Lead architecture, code reviews, feature delivery, and reusable component development for real-time product personalization.
  • Map 3D configuration recipes to SAP S/4HANA materials, SKUs, BOMs, pricing, and made-to-order flows.
  • Integrate Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Centric PLM, Precisely EnterWorks, webMethods, Manhattan, and downstream fulfillment systems.
  • Synchronize configurator options, pricing, availability, and variants with governed product master data.
  • Implement availability, lead-time, pricing, SKU accuracy, ICC color management, and personalization moderation.
  • Optimize rendering performance, memory usage, frame rates, load times, and WebGL stability across mobile and desktop.
  • Establish data contracts, versioned asset/configuration pipelines, monitoring metrics, accessibility standards, documentation, and support processes.
  • Collaborate with 3D asset teams to optimize CAD and mesh assets for web delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including e-commerce storefront or product-configurator development.
  • Hands-on WebGL experience with Three.js and/or Babylon.js, including performance optimization and browser memory management.
  • Experience integrating configurators or storefronts with ERP, PLM, PIM/MDM, pricing, product master data, BOM, and order systems.
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React or Next.js experience; Vue is acceptable.
  • Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, state management, JSON/XML transformations, event patterns, and middleware such as webMethods.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP variant configuration/materials/pricing/BOM, and OMS/WMS flows such as Manhattan.
  • Experience with Drive Commerce Customizer/Recipe API or a comparable configurator platform.
  • Working knowledge of shaders, materials, responsive UX, browser profiling, ICC color management, and personalization commerce.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub, Jira, CI/CD, Webpack/Vite, Postman, and AI-assisted development tools; relevant Salesforce, cloud, 3D/WebGL, or Scrum certifications are preferred.
