Description

  • Build executive relationships and identify the business value and impact of Plaid across a territory of accounts.
  • Manage a named account book of business in the Public Sector vertical.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Public Sector landscape, including procurement and contracting vehicles, payments, credit, and fraud partnerships.
  • Prospect deeply and broadly within target accounts to build support for Plaid adoption among both payer and provider customers.
  • Understand and articulate Plaid’s business value and technology advantage in the Public Sector vertical.
  • Partner closely with outbound sales development, account management, technical account management, implementation, product, and other members of the account pod.
  • Lead consultative enterprise sales efforts from prospecting through negotiation and close.
  • Develop executive-level value stories that resonate with both technical and business buyers.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of quota-carrying experience in a new-revenue sales role.
  • 5+ years of experience selling to enterprise customers and closing enterprise-level deals.
  • Strong track record of selling to large target customers.
  • Ability to sell a technical solution to a business buyer and communicate value at the executive level.
  • Strong prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating skills.
  • Consultative sales approach with a product-centric mindset.
  • Experience working with sales development teams and deploying a territory- or vertical-focused revenue strategy.
  • Interest in financial services products and building strategic customer relationships.
  • Excitement to work in a high-growth environment and help build processes and tools as needed.

  • Target base salary of $136,800 to $180,000 per year, depending on location.
