Description

  • Write production Python code that powers real-time bidding, model training, and campaign optimization.
  • Train, deploy, and monitor machine learning models that determine which ads to show, when to show them, and at what price.
  • Build and improve incrementality measurement systems that help advertisers understand causal lift from CTV spend.
  • Design and implement new machine learning products across the ad-buying lifecycle, including audience targeting, bid optimization, pacing, and attribution.
  • Use LLMs and generative AI to build internal tools that accelerate development, testing, and shipping of ML systems.
  • Serve as a technical lead on a distributed engineering team.
  • Mentor other engineers and help drive technical execution across the team.
  • Own problems end-to-end from scoping through delivery in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

  • Strong production Python skills with experience writing code that runs in production.
  • Solid statistics and machine learning fundamentals, including experiment design and model evaluation.
  • Familiarity with modern AI tools and judgment about where they add value.
  • Experience or familiarity with adtech or CTV, including RTB, programmatic advertising, or supply-path optimization.
  • Clear written communication skills for a distributed team environment.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ownership of problems end-to-end.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of industry experience.
  • Experience using Cursor, Copilot, Codex, or similar AI coding assistants for development, debugging, testing, or refactoring (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with LLM-powered productivity tools for documentation search, experiment analysis, SQL/data exploration, or workflow acceleration (nice to have).
  • Experience with causal inference methods such as uplift modeling, synthetic controls, difference-in-differences, or incrementality testing (nice to have).
  • Big data experience with Scala and Spark (nice to have).
  • Systems programming experience in Zig or similar languages such as C, C++, or Rust (nice to have).
  • Experience with reinforcement learning or bandit algorithms in production (nice to have).
  • Experience building agentic AI systems or LLM-powered workflows (nice to have).
  • MLOps experience, including model deployment, monitoring, and pipeline orchestration on AWS (nice to have).

  • Base salary range of $155,584 to $320,320 USD for US-based applicants.
