Description

  • Provide overall leadership and management of all activities in compliance with PWS requirements.
  • Serve as the primary interface with the COR and Government stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain alignment with Government priorities.
  • Direct program planning and execution, including staffing, task intake and tracking, schedule coordination, risk and issue management, and deliverable completion.
  • Oversee preparation and delivery of Weekly Status Reports, Monthly Status Reports, Topline Reports, technical documentation, and other requested reports.
  • Establish, maintain, and execute the Project Management Plan, Quality Management Plan, dashboard approach, and related SOPs.
  • Direct transition-in and transition-out activities to ensure continuity of operations and minimal mission disruption.
  • Maintain required professional certifications and apply best practices in program governance, risk management, and performance oversight.
  • Lead, mentor, and oversee program staff to ensure accountability, performance excellence, and contract compliance.
  • Manage project resources and ensure work is delivered on time and within scope.

Requirements

  • Required to have a Public Trust clearance.
  • PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is required.
  • IAITAM certification such as CHAMP, CSAM, or CITAM is required, or equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of certification.
  • If not IAITAM-certified, 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, Process and Policy Creation, and Contract and Vendor Management is required.
  • Experience maintaining software asset inventories, purchase agreements, licenses, installations, and usage across an organization.
  • Experience managing and configuring SAM tools/platforms such as ServiceNow, Flexera, or Snow.
  • Experience preparing for and supporting internal and external software audits.
  • Experience developing and implementing software asset management policies and procedures.
  • Experience working with IT, procurement, legal, and finance teams to optimize software asset management and IT asset procurements.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating software contracts and licensing terms, analyzing usage to optimize licenses, and ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
  • 8+ years of experience relevant to the management of information technology is required.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
