Description

  • Develop and execute the enterprise go-to-market strategy aligned with business goals and market opportunities.
  • Lead and manage the AMER enterprise sales team to drive collaboration, performance, and professional growth.
  • Define and implement sales strategies, tactics, and targets to achieve revenue goals and sales quotas.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships as a trusted advisor focused on customer success.
  • Partner with Marketing to align campaigns, messaging, and lead generation efforts.
  • Work with Product Management to capture customer feedback and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Develop and improve sales processes for lead generation, opportunity management, and pipeline management.
  • Provide leadership on sales forecasting, resource planning, and budget management.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to implement and optimize sales tools, technologies, and systems.
  • Coach and mentor enterprise sales team members and provide ongoing feedback and development support.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and present insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Represent Ping Identity at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to support brand awareness and new business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in sales, sales enablement and operations, and/or customer success in software and technology industries.
  • Extensive senior leadership experience in sales within the technology industry.
  • Experience managing large teams across a matrixed, distributed go-to-market organization.
  • Experience selling to customers within the $500M-$2B ARR range.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, processes, and metrics.
  • Excellent leadership, people management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Solid business acumen, including sales operations, forecasting, and budget management.
  • Ability to analyze market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and navigate ambiguity.
  • Ability to travel as needed for customer engagements and business requirements.
  • Experience in cybersecurity or identity and access management (preferred).
  • MBA or advanced degree (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement platforms (preferred).
  • Experience working with global sales teams and international customers (preferred).
  • Strong network and relationships within the technology industry (preferred).
