Description

  • Own the end-to-end sales engagement for hybrid machine customers from inbound interest through opportunity execution.
  • Convert customer demand into quotes and sales opportunities across software, training, system upgrades, consumables, and services.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor on DED technologies and related hardware and service solutions.
  • Identify and pursue upselling opportunities such as preventative maintenance and bulk consumable deals.
  • Coordinate closely with outside sales, service teams, and vendor partners to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Manage the full opportunity lifecycle from work order creation through execution.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasting data with strong data discipline.
  • Support high-margin growth by combining proactive outreach with responsive customer follow-up.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales or sales support, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of CNC manufacturing, welding, or DED (Direct Energy Deposition) technology.
  • Advanced proficiency with CRM systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using ERP and quoting tools.
  • Ability to explain complex hardware and software options clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple high-priority projects at once.
  • Solution-oriented mindset focused on solving customer problems rather than simply taking orders.
