Description

  • Originate and close mortgage deals for Canadian homeowners across a range of home financing needs.
  • Self-generate most or all of your own leads while also converting qualified leads provided by Perch.
  • Build and maintain client and referral partner relationships throughout the mortgage process.
  • Use Perch’s platform to manage client intake, application progress, and document collection.
  • Work with the in-house support team on client intake, appraisal bookings, and document gathering.
  • Guide clients through pre-approvals, renewals, and other stages of the mortgage journey.
  • Leverage automated workflow tools to reduce administrative work and focus on business development and sales.
  • Maintain compliance and support FINTRAC reporting as part of the mortgage process.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Canada and available for a fully remote role.
  • At least 2 years of continuous experience as a licensed Mortgage Agent/Broker or Mortgage Advisor at a bank or credit union.
  • Proven top performer with at least $10M in mortgages originated in the last 12 months.
  • Ability to self-generate most or all of your own leads.
  • Experience working in a commission-based mortgage sales environment.
  • Strong track record of building relationships and closing deals.
  • Contract terms are subject to the Mortgage Representative Agreement.
  • Experience with mortgage underwriting workflows is helpful, though the company provides tools to automate much of the process.
