Description

  • Conduct field medical visits with distributors to educate healthcare professionals about Penumbra products.
  • Plan and operationalize hands-on sessions, workshops, and in-hospital product training programs.
  • Serve as the primary field support for distributor activities and align execution with commercial and clinical strategy.
  • Support product launches in the assigned region to drive adoption and penetration in key accounts.
  • Gather market intelligence from the field and report opportunities, challenges, and competitive activity to the Country Manager.
  • Maintain consistent communication and partnership with distributors to support messaging, training, and execution.
  • Select, manage, train, and develop staff, including setting objectives, assignments, and performance reviews.
  • Work 100% in field-based activities across the assigned region, with extensive travel.
  • Coordinate with regional distributors to ensure effective introduction and demonstration of technologies.
  • Support the growth of Penumbra in Latin America through downstream strategy execution initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Medical Devices in sales, clinical support, or training roles.
  • Experience with field education and product demonstrations preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare market and medical device industry in the region.
  • Experience conducting workshops, training sessions, or hands-on product demonstrations in hospitals and with distributors.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging physicians, nurses, and distributor teams.
  • High degree of ownership, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the assigned region, up to 70%.
  • English proficiency is strongly desired but not mandatory.
