Description

  • Develop test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, and coverage across features, integrations, workflows, and regression scenarios.
  • Review requirements and user stories to identify risks and edge cases early.
  • Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, cross-browser, and cross-device testing.
  • Validate features and bug fixes, document defects with reproducible evidence, and retest fixes.
  • Build, maintain, and monitor automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve automation coverage and reliability.
  • Conduct API, load, stress, performance, and security testing as needed.
  • Maintain test documentation and report metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and pass/fail rates.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders during sprints, releases, and defect resolution.
  • Identify release risks and advocate for product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of QA or software testing experience.
  • Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
  • Familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright automation frameworks.
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, functional testing, and regression testing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience testing SaaS, finance, healthcare, or enterprise software preferred.
  • API testing experience with Postman or RestAssured preferred.
  • Experience integrating automated tests with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI preferred.
  • Exposure to performance or security testing and compliance-focused environments preferred.
  • Experience with Apache JMeter or Locust preferred.
