Description

  • Analyze requirements and product changes, identify risks, and define test coverage.
  • Design and execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end tests.
  • Test Web, native iOS and Android applications, REST APIs, Backend functionality, databases, and integrations.
  • Investigate and localize defects across UI, client, backend, data, integration, and environment layers.
  • Use browser DevTools, network debugging, proxy tools, API tools, logs, and databases to identify root causes.
  • Verify bug fixes and assess potential regression impact.
  • Support software releases and contribute to release-readiness decisions.
  • Communicate testing progress, blockers, risks, and quality status to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with developers and teams to resolve issues and improve QA processes, documentation, and testing approaches.
  • Adapt quickly to new products and contexts while working independently and applying a generalist QA approach.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in software testing or Manual QA, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong experience testing Web applications and native iOS/Android applications.
  • Strong experience with Backend and REST API testing.
  • Understanding of HTTP, client-server architecture, authentication, authorization, and API communication.
  • Proficiency with Postman, Swagger, or similar API testing tools.
  • Understanding of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries for data validation.
  • Strong debugging skills with browser DevTools, network analysis, and traffic interception tools such as Charles Proxy, Proxyman, or Fiddler.
  • Experience investigating issues across UI, API, database, and integration layers.
  • Hands-on Git experience, including branches, merges, pull requests, tags/releases, and basic conflict resolution.
  • Experience supporting releases and applying functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
  • Ability to work with incomplete requirements, ask effective questions, identify risks, and create adequate test coverage.
  • Intermediate English or higher, plus fluency in Ukrainian or Russian.
  • Experience with Kafka or similar message brokers, asynchronous communication, or microservices architecture (preferred).
  • Familiarity with mobile debugging tools, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments, test automation, scripting, or performance testing (preferred).
