Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a collaborative, high-performing, psychologically safe QA team.
  • Define the QA roadmap, quarterly OKRs, priorities, and project plans in alignment with engineering and business objectives.
  • Monitor quality metrics, test coverage, test gaps, and productivity to identify and drive improvements.
  • Improve test framework architecture, test automation, coverage, and DevOps-aligned testing strategies.
  • Partner with engineering teams to shift testing earlier in the development lifecycle and improve testability, maintainability, and code health.
  • Establish QA best practices involving automation, the test pyramid, clean code, and sustainable quality processes.
  • Manage team capacity, staffing, workloads, tools, and priorities to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with functional managers, process leaders, value stream leaders, and stakeholders to drive organizational change.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Software Engineer in Test, QA Engineer, or similar technical testing professional, with people-management experience.
  • Experience leading and developing QA or test engineering teams, including coaching, performance management, and career development.
  • Strong experience with UI and API test automation using Cypress, Selenium, WireMock, JMeter, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience defining and implementing test automation strategies aligned with DevOps and modern software development practices.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, or equivalent.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive quality improvements and organizational change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience managing and collaborating with remote teams.
