Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a collaborative, high-performing QA team.
  • Define the QA roadmap, quarterly OKRs, priorities, and project plans.
  • Monitor quality, test coverage, gaps, and productivity metrics to drive improvements.
  • Improve test framework architecture, automation, coverage, and DevOps testing practices.
  • Partner with engineering teams to shift testing earlier in the development lifecycle.
  • Establish QA practices involving automation, the test pyramid, clean code, and sustainable quality processes.
  • Manage team capacity, staffing, workloads, tools, and priorities to meet delivery and quality goals.
  • Collaborate with functional managers and cross-functional stakeholders to drive organizational change.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Software Engineer in Test, QA Engineer, or similar technical testing professional, combined with people-management experience.
  • Experience leading and developing QA or test engineering teams, including coaching, performance management, and career development.
  • Strong experience with UI and API test automation using Cypress, Selenium, WireMock, JMeter, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience defining test automation strategies aligned with DevOps and modern software development practices.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, or equivalent.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead quality improvements and organizational change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience managing remote teams.
