Description

  • Prepare offer letters, onboarding documents, employee packets, and orientation schedules.
  • Coordinate onboarding requirements including I-9s, E-Verify, tax forms, direct deposit, and other compliance documentation.
  • Manage offboarding tasks such as access removal, equipment retrieval, documentation, and exit coordination.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and organizational data in HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, ADP, Gusto, and Zenefits.
  • Track PTO, benefits enrollment, employee changes, and other core employee information.
  • Support payroll preparation, reconciliation, and timely submission of accurate payroll data.
  • Coordinate with finance and payroll teams to resolve discrepancies and validate payroll inputs.
  • Maintain HR policies, SOPs, compliance records, and audit-ready employee files.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions about payroll, benefits, PTO, policies, and HR processes.
  • Support recruitment administration by posting jobs, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate communication.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Coordination.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, ADP, Gusto, Zenefits, or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with U.S. employment and labor compliance, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEOC, and multi-state regulations.
  • Experience supporting onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Excel or Google Sheets, and HR reporting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or a related HR certification is preferred.
  • Multi-state HR or payroll experience, international HR support, HRIS implementation/optimization, and experience in startups, SaaS, professional services, or high-growth companies are preferred.
