Description

  • Build and maintain 3-statement financial models covering P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Create scenario, sensitivity, ROI, IRR, break-even, and valuation analyses for projects and investments.
  • Query SQL databases and work with large datasets for financial and operational analysis.
  • Clean, transform, and validate data using Python, R, or advanced Excel functions.
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packages, board decks, and recurring performance reports.
  • Build KPI dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to provide leadership with visibility into performance.
  • Perform variance analyses comparing actuals against budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with FP&A teams to refine budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections.
  • Partner with finance, sales, operations, and leadership to align metrics and communicate actionable insights.
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and reporting definitions to ensure transparency and repeatability.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or data analytics.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, and macros.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and joining datasets.
  • Experience preparing variance analyses and management reports.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into simple insights.
  • High attention to detail and strong standards for accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, including executive-level presentations and stakeholder updates.
  • Python or R experience for advanced analytics and data modeling is preferred.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is preferred.
  • Experience in SaaS, finance, healthcare, or professional services is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle is preferred.
