Description

  • Build, launch, and optimize email campaigns across major ESP platforms such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, Mailchimp, or ActiveCampaign.
  • Write subject lines, email copy, and calls-to-action tailored to audience segments.
  • Design and optimize responsive email templates and make light HTML/CSS edits when needed.
  • Segment and maintain email databases by lifecycle stage, engagement level, persona, geography, and behavioral data.
  • Clean and maintain healthy email lists by removing inactive users, hard bounces, spam traps, and duplicates.
  • Build and maintain drip campaigns, nurture sequences, abandoned cart flows, onboarding workflows, and other behavioral automations.
  • Test workflow logic and trigger conditions and continuously optimize automation performance.
  • Monitor sender reputation, inbox placement, and deliverability, including SPF, DKIM, DNS, and suppression lists.
  • Conduct A/B tests and analyze campaign metrics to improve open rates, CTR, conversions, and engagement.
  • Build reports and dashboards, present findings, and communicate optimization recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional email marketing experience.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major ESP such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, Mailchimp, or ActiveCampaign.
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation and email automation workflows.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting, and segmentation.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email template customization.
  • Experience tracking and analyzing email campaign performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with deliverability and inbox placement tools such as Litmus, GlockApps, or Postmark (preferred).
  • Experience integrating ESPs with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot (preferred).
  • Background in SaaS, e-commerce, or professional services industries (preferred).
  • Understanding of lifecycle marketing and behavioral email strategies (preferred).
