Description

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles and maintain a 5-business-day close standard.
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, payroll allocations, depreciation, and intercompany transactions.
  • Prepare complete financial packages, including the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
  • Produce GAAP/IFRS-compliant financial statements, variance analyses, dashboards, commentary, and reporting packages for leadership, board, and investors.
  • Design and strengthen internal accounting controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, audits, and regulatory obligations.
  • Manage external audit processes, including PBC schedules and audit-ready documentation.
  • Partner with FP&A on budgets, forecasts, scenario modeling, and capital planning.
  • Monitor liquidity, working capital, debt compliance, and cash flow, and recommend improvements to financial performance.
  • Lead and mentor accounting staff and bookkeepers while establishing scalable processes, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive ERP implementations, accounting automation, workflow optimization, SOP development, and other process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, financial controls, and close management.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Enterprise, or other ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting experience.
  • CPA, ACCA, or MBA credentials are preferred.
  • Previous Controller or Finance Manager experience is preferred.
  • ERP implementation, M&A integration exposure, or industry experience in SaaS, professional services, or real estate is preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is preferred.
