Description

  • Oversee end-to-end order-to-cash processes, including billing and collections, with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Own and optimize ASC 606-compliant revenue recognition processes and advise on complex contracts and contract modifications.
  • Partner with Data Analytics to align billing and revenue data with forecasts, ARR/MRR metrics, and cash flow projections.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to billing accuracy, DSO, and cash conversion efficiency.
  • Build and maintain systems and processes that support SaaS business models, including subscriptions, renewals, and usage-based pricing.
  • Ensure accurate data flow between CRM, billing platforms, and ERP systems.
  • Lead system integrations and automation initiatives to improve scalability, data integrity, and transparency.
  • Evaluate and implement financial technology tools to improve financial reporting and operations.
  • Design and document internal controls and workflows across financial operations.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team while partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, RevOps, and other finance stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in revenue and accounting operations, including leadership roles in a SaaS or technology company.
  • CPA or equivalent financial management qualification.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models, including subscription billing, ARR/MRR, usage billing, and deferred revenue.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and billing systems such as NetSuite Suitebilling, Payfac, and ISO.
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience working with large data sets.
  • Proven success leading and scaling teams and systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of the ASC 606 revenue standard.
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across organizations.
  • Must be located in the Eastern or Central Timezone.
  • Experience in venture-backed or PE-backed growth environments is preferred.
  • Prior involvement in system implementations or IPO readiness projects is preferred.
