Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for 20–30 active clients and manage ongoing communication.
  • Lead client check-ins, performance conversations, and campaign updates.
  • Diagnose and optimize underperforming cold email campaigns.
  • Troubleshoot deliverability, inbox placement, domain health, spam, list quality, and reply-rate issues.
  • Review and improve subject lines, messaging, sequencing, and personalization.
  • Manage warm-up systems, inbox reputation, sending domains, DNS setup, and SPF/DKIM/DMARC.
  • Write, refine, and test cold email copy to improve open, reply, and positive response rates.
  • Build documentation, playbooks, workflows, and campaign tracking processes.
  • Collaborate with founders, outreach specialists, developers, and infrastructure teams on execution and troubleshooting.
  • Launch, QA, and monitor new campaigns while tracking SLAs, client health, and operational performance.

Requirements

  • Experience in a cold email agency, lead generation company, outbound sales environment, or startup operations setting.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in cold email strategy, deliverability, inbox placement, warm-up systems, and outbound infrastructure.
  • Strong copywriting ability for outbound campaigns.
  • Experience troubleshooting spam issues, domain reputation problems, and low-performing campaigns.
  • Technical understanding of APIs, automations, workflows, and outbound systems.
  • Daily practical use of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude, along with automation workflows.
  • Strong communication and client management skills.
  • Comfort operating independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Experience with Instantly, Smartlead, Clay, Apollo, Lemlist, Outreach, or HubSpot is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Zapier, Make, webhooks, or other automation systems is preferred.
  • Experience scaling outbound systems for startups or agencies is preferred.
  • Background in SaaS or lead generation environments is preferred.
