Description

  • Build and help lead the bank’s Capital Markets off-balance-sheet platform and execution strategy.
  • Evaluate, structure, and execute structured finance transactions, including securitizations, whole loan sales, and forward flow agreements.
  • Drive execution with investment banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, credit funds, and private institutional investors to fund off-balance-sheet assets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with capital sources, institutional investors, rating agencies, and law firms.
  • Prepare investor materials to position Pathward’s assets in the capital markets.
  • Support the Capital Markets Data Analytics team in developing financial models for asset performance and pricing.
  • Manage day-to-day communication and due diligence requests from capital market partners.
  • Develop and maintain investor reporting, surveillance, internal dashboard reporting, and monthly business reviews.
  • Update marketing materials, investor databases, and transaction comparables.
  • Identify and implement best practices for capital markets reporting and operational and credit risk management.
  • Assist in overseeing third-party capital markets financial and operational audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
  • MBA or CFA preferred, or currently working toward one.
  • Typically 5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in Debt Capital Markets, Structured Credit, Specialty Lending, or Investment Banking.
  • Experience developing, structuring, and executing loan sales, syndications, forward flow agreements, and securitizations.
  • Renewable Energy, SBA, and USDA asset finance experience is a plus.
  • Ability to develop relationships with structured product and securitization funding sources, including investment banks, hedge funds, insurance companies, pensions, endowments, and family offices.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to articulate investment merits to potential capital partners.
  • Ability to build effective internal relationships in a matrixed environment and maintain fluency in Pathward’s products.

  • Salary range of $104,000 to $174,000.
