Description

  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new business and revenue growth.
  • Support the Director of Business Development with strategic planning and execution.
  • Partner with operations leaders to understand capacity, regional priorities, challenges, and roadblocks.
  • Identify and evaluate potential clients and opportunities, and help develop win strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry contacts.
  • Lead client communications, including meetings, presentations, and proposal development.
  • Collaborate with the broader Babcock Power sales team on client development efforts.
  • Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and sales performance metrics.
  • Monitor market conditions, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and inform senior management.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of business development materials and messaging.
  • Use market data and corporate resources to improve Paradigm’s sales strategy and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • B.A. or B.S. degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
  • Experience in the power delivery or energy sector preferred.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and rapport with internal employees and external clients.
  • Strong communication skills in both one-on-one and presentation settings.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to follow through on client contracts.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
