Description

  • Manage the software renewal process for assigned accounts to ensure timely and successful contract renewals.
  • Proactively engage clients to drive product adoption and usage, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate renewal terms, pricing, and contractual agreements in partnership with legal and finance teams.
  • Identify, pursue, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities to achieve assigned quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of recommended software enhancements.
  • Develop account plans and strategies, monitor account usage, health, revenue performance, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates using CRM tools and reporting systems.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis, and collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and sales materials.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and coordinate with Customer Support, RevOps, Professional Services, and Implementation teams to ensure customer success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5 years of sales or account management experience, preferably in the software industry or with enterprise, higher education, or K-12 markets.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to understand complex software solutions and articulate their value to clients.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales productivity tools.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, able to work independently, and willing to take on additional duties as needed.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to client sites or industry events.

  • Anticipated base salary range $70,000–$80,000 USD with eligibility for commission under the Sales Commissions Plan and on-target earnings (OTE).
