Description

  • Drive growth of Apex’s environmental services across existing accounts through pipeline development, opportunity creation, and revenue generation.
  • Focus on site characterization, investigation, and remediation opportunities for industrial, commercial, and municipal clients.
  • Connect teams across Apex sectors in the South Atlantic to strengthen cross-service collaboration and client support.
  • Identify dormant accounts with Division leadership and increase active engagement with industrial, commercial, and municipal clients.
  • Provide technical and strategic leadership on select environmental engagements while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Work with National Account Managers, Commercial Line Leaders, and Project Managers to build and execute account plans.
  • Direct high-visibility projects to ensure technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and successful environmental outcomes.
  • Communicate key technical concepts effectively to regulators, stakeholders, and teaming partners.
  • Manage existing program and project performance with a focus on quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in environmental consulting or industry with progressive responsibility in strategy development.
  • Professional registration as a PE or PG in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida.
  • Proven success in client engagement, opportunity development through existing relationships, and managing complex environmental programs.
  • Deep technical expertise in site characterization, investigation, remediation, and regulatory strategy.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to gain credibility with regulators, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Demonstrated success expanding client relationships through cross-selling across multiple service lines and deepening service to existing accounts.
  • Track record of identifying opportunities and delivering high-quality service that strengthens client relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align technical solutions to client business needs.
  • Passion for mentoring, leadership, and advancing a culture of excellence and safety.
  • Confidence operating independently in a fast-paced, PE-backed, team-based, cross-functional environment.
