Description

  • Build new products and features from 0 to 1.
  • Own projects from conception through shipping, with responsibility for modular, maintainable, high-quality code.
  • Deliver value across the system while maintaining a high bar for code quality, testing, and design discussions.
  • Shape product direction by speaking with users and collaborating on feature brainstorms and roadmap planning.
  • Mentor junior teammates and help elevate the skills and expertise of the engineering team.
  • Interview candidates, refer great engineers, and help improve engineering culture.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience building applications.
  • Extensive experience with TypeScript.
  • Experience scaling applications with frontend technologies such as React and Next.js.
  • Experience scaling applications with backend technologies such as Node.js, Mongo, and AWS.
  • Experience at a product-focused startup, scale-up, or technology company.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Positive references from product managers, designers, and business leaders in past roles.
  • Continuous professional development mindset and a strong desire to keep learning.
  • Strong ownership, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
