Description

  • Build new products and features from 0 to 1.
  • Own projects from conception through shipping, ensuring modular, maintainable, high-quality code.
  • Deliver value across the system while considering performance, scale, security, and maintainability.
  • Talk with users and collaborate with teammates to shape product direction and roadmap planning.
  • Provide thoughtful code reviews and technical guidance to peers.
  • Help build the engineering team by interviewing candidates and referring strong engineers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and business teammates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building applications.
  • Extensive experience with TypeScript.
  • Experience scaling frontend applications with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS.
  • Experience at a product-focused startup, scale-up, or technology company.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a track record of effective teamwork.
  • High degree of ownership, strong communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a lifelong learning mindset.
  • Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the United States or Canada.
  • Preferred: experience with Vue.
  • Preferred: San Francisco-based candidates may work from the Presidio HQ for optional in-person collaboration.
