Description

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and pricing based on specifications, drawings, and client requirements.
  • Build detailed bills of materials, source supplier pricing, and estimate labour costs for project costing.
  • Support system design, equipment selection, and the preparation of clear, compliant quotations.
  • Manage quoting across tenders, design and construct projects, minor works, and ad hoc requests while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Design, Project Delivery, suppliers, and clients to gather information and align on project needs.
  • Maintain tender processes, manage RFIs and documentation, and update systems such as ConnectWise.
  • Contribute to improving internal workflows and documentation processes.
  • Ensure pricing, documentation, and system designs remain accurate and aligned with client requirements and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Previous audio-visual industry experience is essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of AV systems, products, and system design.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • High attention to detail, particularly with numbers and documentation.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Experience in estimating, quoting, or tendering environments is desirable.
  • Exposure to university, government, or large corporate AV projects is desirable.
  • Understanding of AV standards and compliance requirements is desirable.
  • Experience working with structured bid or tender processes is desirable.
