Description

  • Define and own the technical roadmap for the lifecycle tooling ecosystem, including data stability, governance, and documentation.
  • Lead cross-functional work to define and maintain source-of-truth lifecycle data models for events, attributes, segments, composite scores, and propensity models.
  • Architect AI-driven automation workflows and internal tools to reduce repetitive production work and improve operational efficiency.
  • Create and maintain documentation for journeys, data dependencies, and operational workflows.
  • Evaluate and onboard new lifecycle capabilities, such as additional channels and integrations, while balancing impact and complexity.
  • Collaborate with lifecycle marketers to translate journey briefs into robust, testable flows in Braze or equivalent platforms.
  • Implement and manage scalable templates, modular components, reusable logic, and sending-rule guardrails.
  • Operationalize A/B and multivariate testing, including audience setup, randomization, holdouts, and measurement instrumentation.
  • Partner with analytics and data science to define experiment frameworks, prioritize personalization tests, and operationalize outputs into journeys.
  • Own lifecycle operations reporting, including journey health, delivery and error monitoring, and experiment status dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify or consolidate journeys based on performance and operational complexity.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in lifecycle or CRM operations.
  • Proven experience scaling CRM or MarTech platforms such as Braze for millions of active users, ideally in a subscription or membership-based model.
  • Hands-on experience with a marketing automation platform and configuring personalized journeys.
  • Strong understanding of experiment design, including control vs. test, holdouts, key metrics, and bias avoidance.
  • Experience partnering with data and engineering teams on integrations, advanced data models, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and cross-functional partners in parallel with strong prioritization and communication.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with comfort owning issues end to end until resolved.
  • Technical proficiency with HTML and templating logic such as Liquid, including reading, writing, and debugging dynamic content and personalization rules.
