Description

  • Own the strategy and calendar for all email and SMS marketing programs, balancing retention initiatives with launches, seasonal campaigns, and loyalty communications.
  • Develop and optimize customer journeys across the lifecycle, including welcome, repurchase, and winback flows.
  • Define segmentation strategies to deliver personalized and high-converting customer communications.
  • Partner with Growth and Digital teams to connect CRM insights to paid media and site experiences.
  • Track, measure, and evaluate email and SMS performance, identify trends, and implement optimizations.
  • Refine KPIs, reporting frameworks, and test-and-learn agendas for lifecycle programs.
  • Serve as the business lead for the CRM tech stack, including ESP, SMS, subscription, loyalty, and integration tools.
  • Partner on evaluating and potentially onboarding a Customer Data Platform to improve data flow, audience unification, and personalization.
  • Own email briefing and collaborate with creative and copy teams on content, editing, approvals, and asset management.
  • Work cross-functionally with Digital and Brand teams to develop stories that drive repeat and cross-category purchases and support product launches and promotions.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of CRM or lifecycle marketing experience in DTC, ideally in beauty, lifestyle, or consumer goods.
  • Proven success driving retention and revenue through email and SMS programs.
  • Deep familiarity with ESPs such as Klaviyo and SMS platforms such as Postscript.
  • Experience with loyalty platforms and integration tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with or strong curiosity about CDPs such as Segment, mParticle, or Amperity.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Creative thinking with a track record of building successful retention marketing campaigns.
  • Desire to learn, grow, and mentor.
