Description

  • Develop relationships with end-users, key opinion leaders, market influencers, and distribution sales professionals in the assigned territory.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and account close goals.
  • Prospect for new customers and grow business within the prescribed territory.
  • Market and promote OraSure products to meet or exceed sales and account closure goals.
  • Support and train new customers and assist with validations as needed.
  • Manage distribution partners to drive demand and ensure their success in the territory.
  • Prepare and present business reviews for key customers.
  • Follow up with new and existing customers to confirm training, proper product use, and expansion opportunities.
  • Provide customer support, resolve issues, and deliver outstanding service to new and existing accounts.
  • Forecast annual and daily revenue, maintain territory reports, and complete administrative work including SFDC updates, routine forecasts, and expense reports.

Requirements

  • Must live in OK, MO, AR, KS, NE, CO, UT, or WY.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of sales experience.
  • Experience in the diagnostics marketplace.
  • Ability to present products, conduct demonstrations, and close new business.
  • Ability to write and follow a business plan for an assigned territory.
  • Strong communication, self-motivation, initiative, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar technology platforms.
  • Ability to prepare or respond to requests for proposal.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% depending on territory.
  • Ability to operate company-provided business tools such as a laptop and phone.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, the competitive marketplace.
