Description

  • Design, write, and deliver software that supports large, web-scale, highly available infrastructure on GCP and AWS.
  • Monitor infrastructure, respond to incidents, and improve systems to prevent future incidents.
  • Plan capacity for cloud systems and services.
  • Support system deployments and product releases.
  • Tune large-scale clusters for optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operational peers to build technical tools and solutions.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Eliminate manual work through automation and cloud-native orchestration.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of AWS and/or GCP experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with shell scripting.
  • Experience programming in Java, Python, Go, or another relevant language.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems, preferred.
  • Good understanding of public cloud services such as VPC, load balancing, datastores, storage, monitoring, serverless computing, and auto-scaling, preferred.
  • Kubernetes, Docker, or container experience, preferred.
  • Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks, preferred.
