Description

  • Define a multi-year Growth Engineering strategy aligned with corporate goals, market expansion, and product priorities.
  • Lead engineering efforts supporting user acquisition, activation, conversion, and experimentation across mobile and web platforms.
  • Oversee the architecture, security, availability, scalability, and maintainability of growth systems and personalization services.
  • Establish software development lifecycle standards and drive operational excellence through testing, code review, incident response, and observability.
  • Lead and develop Engineering Managers and Software Engineers across backend, mobile, and web teams.
  • Mentor technical leaders and oversee hiring, performance management, career development, and growth-domain leveling.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, User Acquisition, Marketing Automation, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams.
  • Improve growth data warehousing, funnel-event measurement, reporting, and business metrics.
  • Champion A/B testing infrastructure, instrumentation, rapid experimentation, and responsible adoption of emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of technical leadership experience within growth teams across mobile and web environments.
  • Strong experience developing technical solutions in partnership with marketing, product, and engineering organizations.
  • Track record implementing SDLC practices, including testing, code review, incident response, and observability, in high-velocity environments.
  • Expertise managing subscription lifecycles and payment integrations.
  • Deep understanding of experimentation methodologies, including A/B testing and instrumentation.
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities, take ownership, and multiply team effectiveness.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI.
  • Ability to demonstrate alignment with onX company values.
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization.
  • Ability to travel quarterly for multiple days to an onX office or strategic location.
  • Experience with user attribution and marketing automation technologies preferred.
  • Experience with web and app analytics and visitor-data technologies preferred.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or Looker preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $200,000–$249,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Annual bonus opportunity of 10% based on company performance.
