Description

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and ensure accurate, timely financial statements.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, payroll recording, fixed assets, and expense reporting.
  • Establish and enforce accounting policies and internal controls with the SVP, Corporate Controller.
  • Coordinate annual external audits and support sales tax, property tax, and corporate income tax compliance.
  • Drive improvements to accounting processes, systems, and reporting, including ERP maintenance and enhancements.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff and outsourced accounting partners.
  • Collaborate with IT, finance operations, and cross-functional teams while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting for U.S. corporations.
  • SaaS or technology company experience with ARR-based business models preferred.
  • Experience managing international teams or international accounting operations is a plus.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Avalara, Paystand, Tipalti, or Tesorio is a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Excellent communication, project management, problem-solving, and process-building skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience supporting high-growth companies or M&A integration preferred.
