Description

  • Own the availability, performance, security, capacity, and lifecycle of network, server, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Administer LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and switching/routing equipment.
  • Provision, patch, tune, maintain, and decommission physical and virtual servers.
  • Manage compute, storage, networking, and IAM across GCP, AWS, or Azure environments.
  • Administer VMware, Hyper-V, and applicable containerization platforms.
  • Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions, conduct DR tests, and document results.
  • Monitor infrastructure with tools such as Zabbix, Datadog, and Grafana; resolve infrastructure incidents.
  • Enforce patching, vulnerability remediation, access hardening, certificate management, and other security controls.
  • Maintain storage solutions, infrastructure documentation, runbooks, configuration baselines, and change records.
  • Support ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS audits and contribute to infrastructure strategy and roadmap planning.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of IT infrastructure administration or systems engineering experience.
  • Hands-on network administration experience with firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco; VPN, DNS/DHCP, and VLANs.
  • Experience administering Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
  • Administration experience with at least one major cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or equivalent virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery tools, methodologies, and recovery testing.
  • Understanding of infrastructure security, including hardening, patch management, access controls, and certificate lifecycle management.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Methodical approach to documentation, change management, and incident response, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, cloud associate certifications, or VMware VCP are preferred.
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, or SaaS/cloud-native/CCaaS environments is preferred.
