Description

  • Collaborate with account executives to develop and execute territory and account strategies.
  • Conduct research and discovery to understand customer requirements and business needs.
  • Deliver proof-of-concepts for customers with complex use cases and coordinate with other engineering teams as needed.
  • Create technical content that explains implementation approaches and best practices for new technologies.
  • Prepare and deliver product demonstrations tailored to customer business needs and use cases.
  • Translate customer feedback and product needs to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Educate customers ranging from developers to C-level executives on cloud security technology.
  • Identify, map, and manage multiple buyer personas across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience.
  • Customer-facing experience in consulting, support, or solutions engineering.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly through presentations, slides, and whiteboarding.
  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), including SSO, MFA, SCIM, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and LDAP.
  • Knowledge of lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), and provisioning/deprovisioning.
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and common application security concerns such as password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, and XSRF.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: web development, mobile development, backend development, or IP-based real-time communications.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with highly skilled and experienced audiences.
  • Willingness to travel 10-25%.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a comparable field is preferred.
