Description

  • Lead the sales process within an assigned enterprise territory focused on net-new logos and account growth.
  • Develop and execute territory plans, sales strategies, and pipeline-generation tactics.
  • Identify, prospect, and qualify net-new leads that match ideal customer profiles.
  • Manage sales activities including presentations, demos, proposals, pricing, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Build and expand relationships with enterprise stakeholders across the customer organization.
  • Collaborate with channel partners, alliances, sales support, solutions engineering, and other internal teams.
  • Guide prospects from initial contact through implementation and close.
  • Deliver ARR revenue targets and support annual growth goals.
  • Position Okta’s value proposition at both functional and business levels with target stakeholders.
  • Use channel and alliance relationships to uncover new opportunities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of direct field sales experience selling enterprise cloud software and developing net-new logos.
  • Track record of consistently overachieving sales targets and closing six-figure software cloud deals.
  • Experience selling complex enterprise software solutions in high-growth, fast-changing environments.
  • Experience using partners, channels, and alliances to drive sales success.
  • Experience selling during a market-creation phase.
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
  • Knowledge of MEDDPICC and Challenger methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong executive presence and experience selling to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in enterprise cloud software, infrastructure management, application development and management, security, business applications, and/or analytics is preferred.
