Description

  • Serve as the primary functional administrator and subject matter expert for Workday Core HCM and related modules.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize the Workday tenant, including organizations, staffing models, business processes, security, reporting, calculated fields, validations, approvals, and notifications.
  • Translate business needs into scalable, secure, and well-controlled Workday solutions using delivered functionality when practical.
  • Own Workday documentation, configuration standards, and business processes to ensure consistent governance and platform use.
  • Develop and maintain the Workday roadmap by evaluating new functionality, best practices, and evolving business needs.
  • Evaluate biannual Workday releases, assess feature impacts, and coordinate adoption of new functionality.
  • Lead or support implementations, module expansions, enhancements, and optimization initiatives from discovery through post-production stabilization.
  • Define requirements, develop testing strategies, coordinate UAT, and manage cutover, deployment, and post-release monitoring.
  • Build and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, notifications, and scheduled reporting.
  • Support Workday integrations, including requirements definition, data mapping, testing, reconciliation, monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Configure and maintain Workday security and support access reviews, audits, and compliance obligations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience as a system administrator or functional owner in a production environment.
  • Deep functional expertise in Workday Core HCM, business processes, calculated fields, reporting, and multiple Workday modules across the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience leading Workday releases, enhancements, testing, production deployments, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, employee data, security, privacy, and data governance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functional and technical teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a range of stakeholders.
  • Workday Pro accreditation or Workday partner certification (preferred).
  • Advanced experience with Workday Security, Payroll, integrations, or reporting (preferred).
  • Experience in a public company, SOX-controlled environment, or rapidly growing organization (preferred).
  • Experience using automation or AI to improve HR systems, reporting, testing, or support (preferred).
  • Must be a U.S. person eligible for work involving U.S. export control information.
