Description

  • Own the product backlog and keep priorities actionable through clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and MVP definition.
  • Partner with engineering, design, and VA stakeholders to translate requirements into well-scoped product work.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Track delivery progress, identify blockers, and manage dependencies to keep the team on track.
  • Use data, user research, and stakeholder feedback to inform prioritization and product decisions.
  • Communicate across engineering, design, and government stakeholder teams to maintain alignment.
  • Present and explain product plans and progress to VA leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner on federal health IT programs.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Health or similar EHR platforms strongly preferred.
  • VA program experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong backlog management skills, including user story writing, acceptance criteria, and MVP definition.
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and guiding teams through consistent sprint cycles.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and create clarity in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Comfort working in a remote, collaborative Agile environment with engineers, designers, and government stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for planning sessions and leadership presentations.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; some roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or security clearance.
