Description

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account and territory plan to drive new business.
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close sales pipeline across assigned territory and accounts.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Obsidian Security’s offering and customer value proposition.
  • Align with partners and alliances to maximize opportunity creation and conversion.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Customer Support to advance deals.
  • Manage pipeline forecasting accurately and consistently.
  • Participate in sales enablement training and ongoing sales development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, C-level stakeholders, and new contacts across IT security and other business functions.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer conditions to inform sales strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience.
  • Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
  • Experience evangelizing new technology into Fortune 1000 accounts.
  • Ability to manage existing client relationships and accounts.
  • Ability to build relationships with IT security stakeholders and other lines of business.
  • Strong prospecting, deal qualification, and POV management skills.
  • Ability to understand customer business issues and map them to a solution value proposition.
  • Experience maintaining accurate CRM records, including activity, forecasts, close ratios, and market intelligence.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Ability to learn quickly and articulate product differentiation to prospective clients.
  • Location preference in the Atlanta metro region with ability to travel within and outside the region.
  • Preferred experience using C-level relationships to drive new opportunities.
