Description

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities across assigned territory and accounts.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account and territory plan.
  • Build a strong understanding of Obsidian Security’s offering and customer value proposition.
  • Collaborate with partners and alliances to maximize opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Customer Support to advance deals.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and sales management.
  • Participate in sales enablement training.
  • Manage prospecting, deal qualification, and POV efforts to win new business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience.
  • Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
  • Experience evangelizing new technology into Fortune 1000 accounts.
  • Ability to maintain and manage existing client relationships and accounts.
  • Ability to build new relationships across IT Security and other lines of business, including C-level relationships.
  • Strong CRM hygiene and ability to capture accurate pipeline, forecast, and market intelligence data.
  • Strong prospecting, deal qualification, and POV management skills.
  • Ability to understand customer business issues and map them to solution value.
  • Team player who collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Ability to learn quickly and differentiate the product to prospective clients.
  • Willingness to work 100% remotely with a preference for the Greater New York tri-state metro region and ability to travel within and outside the region.
