Description

  • Ensure accurate, high-quality scientific content across assigned workstreams.
  • Co-lead a global publications team and support high-quality delivery across projects.
  • Develop scientific content for high-impact publication projects.
  • Oversee, mentor, review, and motivate medical writers, including line-managing junior team members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, authors, and external experts.
  • Lead client and author calls and scientific meetings.
  • Provide strategy-driven recommendations and act as a trusted client advisor.
  • Collaborate with account leadership on business growth and innovative client offerings.
  • Travel occasionally for client meetings and events.

Requirements

  • Extensive medical writing experience within a medical communications agency, including publications.
  • Experience writing a broad range of publication deliverables and formats for varied medical audiences.
  • Experience reviewing and overseeing other writers, ideally including line management.
  • Developing leadership skills and a desire to lead a global team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues, clients, and external experts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
  • Neurology experience, particularly in multiple sclerosis, is advantageous.
