Description

  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business processes and functional requirements.
  • Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps to guide development work.
  • Partner with Product Managers to evaluate business requests and prioritize the Salesforce backlog.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators and Developers to design scalable solutions and protect data model integrity.
  • Assess the impact of new requirements on platform architecture, integrations, and dependent business systems.
  • Design UAT scripts, coordinate testing cycles, and create end-user training materials.
  • Serve as a functional lead on projects, monitor delivery health, and manage timelines and stakeholder alignment.
  • Promote platform standards and Salesforce-native best practices across teams.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal departments and cross-functional technology partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of dedicated experience in business analysis, requirements translation, and functional design within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Solid working knowledge of core Salesforce capabilities, configuration options, security models, and declarative automation tools.
  • Demonstrated success leading or driving functional phases of cross-functional Salesforce projects from discovery through deployment.
  • Proven ability to facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with non-technical business partners and translate needs into technical specifications.
  • Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certification is required.
  • Experience with the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or familiarity with nonprofit donor engagement and CRM processes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, integrations, or related digital communication components is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in mapping business processes, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in plain language.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
