Description

  • Support the sales team with technical content, solution scoping, and value-based selling for prospective clients.
  • Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations for active deals, including presentations to audiences ranging from end-users to executives.
  • Provide technical answers and guidance throughout the sales process to help achieve the technical close.
  • Lead the RFP process and maintain an ongoing database of questions and responses.
  • Create and execute product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts for prospects.
  • Collaborate with sales teammates on presentations and configured demonstrations.
  • Assist in sales training by sharing product capabilities and competitive positioning.
  • Build knowledge of competing products and market differentiators to support win strategies.
  • Attend conferences and trade shows to present, demonstrate products, and field questions from clients and prospects.
  • Share field intelligence with internal teams to inform product and business improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering or Pre-Sales Engineering in B2B SaaS.
  • 2+ years of experience in the Sustainability, Environmental, or ESG software space.
  • Deep technical expertise in SaaS platforms and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to different stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce and technical sales tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred.
  • A sales mindset with the ability to align the value proposition to prospect pain points.
  • Experience or understanding of document generation and business process automation is a plus.
