Description

  • Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform and coordinate development and support efforts within the admin team.
  • Work with the ServiceNow functional team to build requested items and tasks using workflows from customer intake through fulfillment.
  • Configure and improve core and custom ServiceNow applications in collaboration with the functional team.
  • Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow.
  • Monitor the health, usage, and compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
  • Develop system integrations and process automation.
  • Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, ACLs, Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, and Formatters.
  • Configure and manage Discovery.
  • Lead application and platform upgrades.
  • Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems.
  • Create ServiceNow reports and dashboards.
  • Mentor junior staff and help grow delivery capabilities.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to pass a federal background check and maintain eligibility for continued access authorizations, including periodic drug screenings.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 3–5 years of ServiceNow development experience.
  • Strong JavaScript, XML, and HTML skills.
  • Familiarity with LDAP, MS Active Directory, and ADFS.
  • Proven experience implementing and customizing a web-architected, n-tiered enterprise application.
  • Proven experience implementing integrations of enterprise software systems.
  • Experience creating ServiceNow update sets and promoting/testing them through multiple instances into production.
  • Ability to design and build applications that meet business goals and objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical information to varied audiences.
  • Experience working in the government sector (preferred).
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Developer certification (preferred).
  • Experience configuring ServiceNow Discovery (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM processes (preferred).
  • ITIL v4 Foundation Certification (preferred).
