Description

  • Design, develop, and configure custom applications, workflows, UI components, and platform features in ServiceNow.
  • Build and modify Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions, Client Scripts, data policies, and Flow Designer flows.
  • Use AI tools and LLMs to accelerate development, generate scripts, and troubleshoot platform issues.
  • Create AI-assisted ServiceNow scripts, Flow Designer logic, and integration payloads from plain-language requirements.
  • Configure Now Assist features such as Virtual Agent conversations, AI Search, and Predictive Intelligence models.
  • Integrate external AI/ML APIs into ServiceNow workflows through Integration Hub or REST APIs.
  • Design prompt engineering strategies for Now Assist and Virtual Agent use cases.
  • Support AI-enhanced ITSM capabilities such as incident auto-classification, intelligent routing, and anomaly detection.
  • Write unit tests and help develop automated test suites using ServiceNow ATF.
  • Build and maintain REST/SOAP integrations, resolve defects, and provide operational support.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript and ServiceNow server/client scripting.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, including prompt engineering, LLM APIs, and automation techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow AI/ML capabilities such as Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, Now Assist, or AI Search is strongly desired.
  • Experience with ServiceNow ATF or other automated testing approaches.
  • Ability to interpret functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications and working features.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent analytical/troubleshooting skills.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, ITOM, or a related domain preferred.
  • Experience integrating OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or other LLM APIs with enterprise platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with RAG patterns for grounding AI responses in organizational data preferred.
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for AI/ML pipeline support preferred.
  • Exposure to ServiceNow Now Assist configuration, skill building, or generative AI rollout preferred.
  • Master's degree in a technical field preferred.
